Day 3 | Matcha, Lilies & That Sunday Feeling

Dear Self,

Today started with a grin. Like my body just knew, it’s Sunday. And Sunday means no pressure, no noise, just good vibes and a chance to feel alive in the softest way possible.

I made a matcha with a twist this morning: oat milk (obviously), a drop of vanilla, a tiny pinch of cinnamon and a swirl of maple syrup. Warm, creamy, basically a hug in a mug. Took it out with me because the sky looked like it had plans for me.

I ended up walking aimlessly, the best kind of wandering. The air was fresh, the city felt quiet in the right places and every stranger had a spark of calm in their eyes. I passed a flower shop, paused and walked out with lilies. Because why not? Matcha in one hand, lilies in the other... suddenly I was the moment.

I found a bench in the park. The sun came out. I watched people drift by, couples holding hands, kids racing ahead, a woman with a chihuahua in a sweater. Everyone seemed so perfectly in it. I let my playlist carry the rest.

I took myself out for lunch, just me, my thoughts and a window seat. Now, after dinner, I’m back home, winding down with matcha round two. Writing. Reflecting. Just being.

Love,
Nokū
